It was just a star, one among countless others, hanging in the night sky.  Perhaps it shone a little more brightly than the rest, perhaps it had a green tinge to it at times, but it was still just a star, until the day it wasn’t.

What an intriguing notion... that's one I haven't seen before! I wonder what made damnation appear in the form of a triangle? I had thought by the way they were interacting at first that the main characters were kids, brother and sister... the "bright side" line and the kamikaze comic books were a bit of fun that totally belied the twisted twist to come. Very compelling!

It was a triangle purely because when we saw a bright star we hadn't noticed before the other night, that's what it looked like when I first pointed the telescope at it!

Fascinating story, great use of language.

This cracked me up-- such a wonderful description of something we all know too well.

The whole idea here is creepy and doom-filled. Well done!

Honestly, I have no idea where I could take this next! Mind, this turned out very differently to how I'd originally envisaged, so perhaps I should just do what I'd planned in the first place!
