So subtle at first I was believing it and then full blown horror at the end. Very well written story, you are one of the special ones!

Eeeee!

It could pass for non-fiction, up until the hints and then establishing of the vampire aspect. Toddlers are overwhelming, and girls so often DO bicker and bicker, especially those close in age.

You haven’t lived until you’ve drunk the blood of a newborn, the heady bouquet of that special scent filling your nostrils, creating a multisensory experience unlike any other.
Ugh, ugh, ugh. And yet, perfect vampire thinking.

Thanks - that last line is what prompted the whole thing and I sort of worked backwards from there.
