MLK Weekend and beyond

Random events from last Thursday until now:

--Went to see Cloverfield at midnight.  It was hard to watch, as the crazy handicam action attempted to make me ill.  No spoilers, so I'll simply say that my guess for what the monster was was half right, if you consider the smaller things.
--Finally got around to my snail photographs that I've put off

The monster was shrimp.

In my creative writing class today for one line of an exercise we had to "Say something specific but completely preposterous" ... mine may or may not have involved shrimp.

Also, I just thought that you should know: Fats Domino was an answer on the crossword puzzle today.

so my feelings towards cloverfield are the exact same. i couldnt handle the movement of the cameraman....
