I just ordered a new winter coat!  I've been wanting one for forever because mine isn't all that warm.  It's red!  And long!  And has toggles and a hood!  I adore it; I just hope that it fits.  It was in European sizes, and the size chart didn't match up with what I remembered European sizes being, but yeah.  I'm really anxious for it to get here ( Read more... )

Tubing on the Potomac on Sunday was awesome.  We rented tubes from "Butt's Tubes" and went down the river, which is very different from the hold on for your life lake tubing that I'm used to, but still a very good time.  And, incidentally, I did get knocked out of it once, when we went down this rapid-y section ( Read more... )

Why can't I just say no to people when they ask me to drive them to a place that's an hour away?  For one, I didn't know it was so far away at the time, but still...so I have to do that in 2 hours, and I don't want to.  [edit: I grew a backbone, and got out of it, and she's still getting where she needs to go, so I don't even have to feel bad.]
