7 of us REUers went to see the fireworks yesterday.  But it was raining pretty bad and what not, so we left, and about as soon as we did, the clouds parted and the sun came out.  But it was decided not to go back, so instead we went to the mall, which was closed, and the shady Indian restaurant, which was closed, and finally the bowling alley, ( Read more... )

Canoe trip today!  Jessica, Brandon, and I were masterful canoers.  And we passed Treasure Island, and Robinson Crusoe Island.  And we stopped at one with zillions of tiny, little frogs all over; we thought we were going to crush them.  And we swam in painfully cold water under a waterfall and in to a wonderful little cave.  And rope swung.  And ( Read more... )
