I sing of arms and a man

I got my single for next year. Steve did too! Joy! Excitement! Happiness!

My schedule for next semester:

Intro to Middle Eastern History
Critical Reading in History
20th Century French Literature
Jerusalem: The Holy City
Arabic 1

Everything is falling into place :)

Now I just have to survive this semester. And Daylight savings.

YAY!! Woohoo! I'm so happy for you. You certainly deserve it! And I'm happy for Steve too. Now there just needs to be a Lena up there, heehee.

Canto arma a virum??? Crap, this is awful. I should definately be able to remember how to say that in Latin. Do you know how to say it in latin, or does Steve? This is going to bug me now. Oh Mr. Barako, how I miss thee.

Yay! That's so awesome! I don't think we have singles like that at SU. But my roommate and I are stickin together so it's nice anyway. I'm so glad things are working out for you!!!

Love you!

Allie! I need hellllppppp

I signed up for for next year, but only 8 other students did as well, and the class has been "cancelled". I'm trying to figure out what I should do. I will have the amount of credits I need for the year, but I'm wondering if it's a wise choice to stick with the minimum number of classes. Here are the other classes I'm registered to take:

-Creative Writing (half year)
-Psychology (half year)
-Intro to Calculus 50
-AP Literature
-AP Biology
-AP U.S. Government

I don't know whether it's smarter to take it easy my senior year, or if having a small number of classes makes you look lazier on your high school transcript with college apps. I figured you'd be a good person to ask for advice on the matter.

Thanks,
Sarah K.

p.s. I'm happy everything is falling into place for you. Your classes for next semester look AMAZING, and I hope you enjoy them.

Whatever you do, make sure you do it to the best of your ability because it's better to do well in the classes you have signed up for now, rather than taking an extra class and doing a little worse in all the rest. My advice: Keep up with your extra curriculars, put the energy in the things you'll love, it'll show. You have a balanced schedule, and you took 3 AP's this year? 6 is a good number. Breathe. It's all good.

You should apply to BU, by the way, they might give you money and the theatre here is phenomenal. Plus the resources are outstanding. I'm very happy here.

So if I just stick with 10 credits next year and my extracurriculars, so long as I'm putting in a full effort (which i'll need for some of those classes! :-D ), it shouldn't be a problem that I'm sticking to the minimum number?

Thankies <3
Sarah K.
