Just performed with kids in two assemblies at two different schools. I had to restring my guitar at the weekend and I have a blocked ear (syringing on Thursday) so I couldn't hear a lot. Having longed for some warm weather for so long, I am now sweltering. Hot and sticky and still fighting with my hair. It does silly things when my head gets hot. After trying it with a scarf around it (looked like an idiot), I've clipped one side up and covered the whole lot in hairspray. I hope it doesn't look too girly for a 44-year-old. ( Read more... )

I'm vaguely wondering about changing the name of my shop and blog. 'Little Lovely Stuff' was a first idea that kind of stuck, in the absence of any better ideas. Is it a little bit... twee? Girly? Silly? I've been looking at other people's names and they're much more imaginative ( Read more... )

WTF is happening with the weather? Yesterday, we had hail, rain, thunder and lightning, sunshine... Every time I got out of the car, something hurtled out of the sky! Is anyone else's weather insane?
