I just wanted to say that I just started writing in a new blog.
I've called it ' drawn to distraction', and it's on blogger. The title is apropos for me, as everytime I want to draw lately, I am distracted. :-(
I'm not sure why, but I wanted to have a place where I could blog, and read my other favorite bloggers, and many of them are on blogger.

Jessica Wesolek blog
I took an online drawing class with Jessica Wesolek, a New Mexican artist. It was a good refresher for me, and I actually started drawing a lot, which is something I wasn't doing,and missing it. Rainy day Mushroom
Just a quickie...it's been raining for over a week, I heard that it has rained 8 days out of the 12 in June so far. UGH>
I need some sun to cheer up my brain. My flowers need the rain too....they're getting soggy.
anyway, just a little photo, this perfectly cute mushroom grew in 2 days due to all the rain. here's hoping to see the sun soon.

Wonderful Washington DC Weekend highlights.
So, having a major Jesse 'jones' for a few weeks, I just had to go to DC to see him.
Richard & I decided to go this past weekend, take Joey, & stay over Saturday nite. The Red Roof Inn is a moderately-priced hotel that takes Big Dogs, with no extra charges, so we stayed there, and it turned out to be right in the heart of town, which was great. ( Read more... ) -
why am i so angry?
Sometimes, lately, I just feel like I complain alot. Like I'm angry a lot. When I see the Citi bank commercials, advertising that they're helping people,and so many folks are still in bad trouble, that makes me mad. Or when I hear the financial advisors on CNBC telling people how to invest their money, when most people are just happy to be ( Read more... ) -
May updates
May is a weird month for me. Mother's day is ok, I sometimes feel like some holidays are just ways for Hallmark to make money. I actually did get 2 great cards , one from Isaac and one from Jesse.
