My mom is morally against sending out those Christmastime brag sheets. We usually joke about potential ones we would send out: "Rachel's finally finished with her required community service hours and is entering her probation period, and Allie was finally able to take the baby home for good

My parents somehow befriend people who send out the most appalling Christmas letters. Our favorite so far this year is one where they portrayed their daughter as essentially Christ part II, and then their poor son was like "John isn't doing as well as Katie this year. His grades aren't that great and he was only second string on the football team. We're crossing our fingers that he gets into IU but it doesn't look likely." !!!
