:) I see what you mean. Actually, we're talking about 2 different things, but using the same words. I was interacting with the philosophical implications of ideologies. I would agree that in an ideal world, Socialism should work. But it doesn't, because humans are fallen (which is what you've reminded us of). Christianity should (and does) redefine a person. And the only socialism that has ever really worked that I know of was practiced by Christians! (See Acts). But there is something God-given that makes each of us unique, and if we are treated all exactly the same, with no cause, whether we work or not, etc, it steals from our God-given individuality, and makes us feel like less of a person. Possessions have nothing to do with it, as you have clearly pointed out. I'm glad you've been thinking about it. That's the point! :)

It's not something I've been thinking about...but more like something I just think and feel all the time! And I do think it a pity that it isn't something more people think and feel. Well, it's a common topic in my household every other day. (It's one thing in which my dad and I share a solemn common ground. We may argue on every other point
