Hm, we have a pretty similar musical history. The first two albums I bought myself were Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me and New Order's Substance. From there I went into Saint Etienne and Swing Out Sisters and other (then) guilty pleasures that pushed me more into electronica and even house music (which I totally hated the first few times I heard it at gay clubs; now I pretty much live with a constant 4/4 beat

I wasn't too impressed with the tracks off Superchumbo's solo album, but his remixes are spot on for nearly everything that I've heard. And your evolution in musique has pretty much followed mine; I feel blessed to have had wonderful alternative dance clubs in Florida during my college formative years and had my alternative dance radio show for two years (hence the djx in my handle).
