To be Nice to people, you have to apologize. So far, Parker has apologized to: Crichton, Cam, Michael, and various others. But there's one last person she has to be Nice to.
She tells the cab driver to wait, because this won't take long.
Then she pounds on the door of Championship Vinyl.
The sound of pounding has increased. Rob's eyes meander upwards... and he sees that it's not just in his head. Parker is standing outside the shop... pounding and looking... perky.
He shoves himself off the counter and drags his butt to the door. "It's unlocked."
"Oh!" Parker opens it, and laughs. "How could I miss that?"
She wanders in, a cheerful meander, with a chipper smile on his face, that quickly turns sympathetic. "How are you doing, Rob? You don't look so good." She perches on the counter, swinging her legs, and tilts her head. "I missed you at the dance. The new DJ isn't as good as you."
"Um... okay. Did I miss the whole part where we made up and are best buddies or something, or did you miss the part where you dumped me and had me kicked off your campus?" Rob crosses his arms. "You're gonna have to help me out here. My memory isn't what it was. Getting old, you know."

Well, it was true.
