It was an amazing day. Awe inspiring, not just because f what was happening on the steps of the Capitol, but because of the people. Wonderful from start to finish!

A woman near me said to her companion “Why would I buy a tee shirt now? It’s over.” Her friend corrected her “It has just begun!”

Thanks for a great description of the day!

There were so many people hugging and crying and just so amazingly happy. It really has just begun, and I am happier with each passing day.

Thanks for sharing. I wish we had been there in person but were in spirit. What a wonderful thing for Wendall to experience. :)

I'm soooo happy that I made the decision to take him out of school for the day. This was a much more meaningful way for us to spend the day, and I would not have traded it for anything. It was perfect.

I've been waiting with baited breathe to see your pictures. I was home sick on inauguration day, and watched it on TV, crying all day. And when they showed the masses on the mall, I thought of you and your wonderful boy.

Sorry you were sick, but lucky you in the timing! Thank you for thinking of us in that crowd. The cold and the walking and the crush of people were all worth the effort. It was wonderful.
