Well, it's been a fabulous few days in Scotland. Ridiculously scenic, with a tonne of photos. DS is likely to return here, learn Gaelic, and marry some red headed Hielan lass. And learn the bagpipes in the privacy of his room while awaiting the visa. We already bought three Gaelic textbooks at Blackstones ( Read more... ) -

Yesterday was good. Threatening rain as I cycled to Ainslie for a bush walk, but I had a thermos of citrus tea and a Microsoft jacket - left over from my days as a VB6 programmer.

In just over three weeks, I'll be heading off overseas. This time I'm going through Johannesburg, for the cheap fare. I found a document on the net that I wanted to read offline. That is, on my iPad, because it's something fairly long and I do a lot of my reading in bed and juggling a laptop and a cat in a horizontal position doesn't make for a calm reading experience.
