Yeah, there's a lot of crap on it and some rules which seem a little arbitrary. I look at some of the posts made by folk who don't handle English well and I want to take a red pen to it, but, you know, I don't have to read it
( ... )
I've also been wondering whether I should explore Bubblews further. I have to admit that I like the idea of seeing a return, even if it's only a couple of dollars. Like you, I could see it going towards Kiva loans, or wings at Bookcrossing or something similar.
But the hurdle is: what would I write about? Length isn't the problem. 400 characters is only three Twitter posts, after all. It's the subjects. But, then, I probably already do something along those lines on Facebook. I'd probably just need to expand it a little more. I shall have to keep thinking...
Yes, that happened to me too. I joined yesterday and wrote four posts. When I checked back a couple of hours later (to check on my new-found wealth), I couldn't log in and my posts had vanished.
I managed to find my posts via a Google search (had to look at the older cached versions of the results) so I know that they existed and I wasn't just imagining that I'd written them.
I rejoined Bubblews using the same user name and password. I submitted the posts again (cutting and pasting from my previous efforts). As of a few minutes ago the new account and the posts still exist. Let's see how long they last.
Looking at your posts, it may be the photographs - one is only allowed to use photographs of one's own, or photographs with a clear commercial license, and links to the source must be shown.
