Good morning all.

The banquet went well, I think.

I have a nice free-standing award sitting proudly on my desk now for Member of the Year! I almost cried when I was announced as the winner (when do I not cry?) because it was a very pleasant surprise.

Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! Was very nervous, but I think I pulled it off ok.

Ah, the award... it's beautiful! Don't really have any place to put it though. Am considering carrying it around with me wherever I go so everybody can see it.

On second thought, nobody likes a show-off.
