What is up with these random lj users spamming the comments section in my fucking journal? Each new comment I get telling me to "check out this new band" or "join this community" irritates me even more. I reply to their comments telling them to "fuck off" but sure enough the next entry has a comment from somebody different

I've thought about it. But I don't really want to do that only because I love it when random people stroll into my livejournal, read it, and leave me a comment saying they thought it was funny, or something like that.

It warms my heart.

Ok, it may not "warm my heart" but it's pretty cool.

But if it keeps happening I'll have no other choice then to make it friends only.

My friend has an exceedingly fat cat as well. Like, it's belly is dragging on the ground. And plus, it only has 3 legs.

Hey hey join our community. It's called petsandnets and we like put our pets in nets, and take pictures. We then photoshop these pictures and change them into posters for church walls. God blesses us then and we run off with the contents of the collection tin.

PS That community doesn't really exist, but if demand increases one day the dream may become reality.

I'm glad your cat came home :) I know how rough it is at the shelters.. All those animals only want a home, and when you can't give that to them, it just really sucks. I hope you get Linus, that'd be awesome. Plus, I think it's a sweet-ass name for a cat, LOL But that's just me.

Regarding the spamming in your journal, I'd suggest what others did, about making it friends only. I did that to mine a while back, but it's a bitch-and-a-half to do. Another thing you could do is start reporting these people to LJ abuse or whatever it is.. Let the big guys in charge deal with em. Of course, me, being the rabid bitch I can sometimes be, would start spamming their journals with utterly ridiculous quotes, and make their lives a living hell.. But, in any case, I hope you get it all worked out :)

Yeah, it definitely breaks my heart going there and seeing all these cats wanting a home so bad, and knowing that you might be the person to give it to them, and then having to turn your back and leave.

I'm a rabid bitch as well sweetie, so that spamming their own journals doesn't sound like a half bad idea. LOL, but with my luck they'd probably report me to LJ abuse.

I'm going to need to really consider making my journal friends only. But if I do that, I'm going to want to make most of my past entries friends only as well, which will be a total bitch.

awwwwww, i'm so glad he came home! i know how it is to go to those shelters...i occasionally stop by the town dog pound and fall in love. feeding them doggie treats makes me feel a tad bit better.

I love being able to feed them. The people working there must think I'm nuts, but I like to see that they're being taken care of.
