• We are booked to go to a snowboarding festival in April. Very. Excited. Although, have never actually snowboarded, so really hoping I take to it. Have plans to go to a training day thing at the Hemel Hempstead slopes (birthday present from Red) soon.
   
• Had to cancel plans to go to Edinburgh for xmas shopping and awesomeness due

Yay, awesome news about Snowbombing! We'll have to get our butts in gear and book up as well. Do you know which dates you're going in/out, and where you'll be staying?

With a few caveats (you need basic instruction, adequate gear and soft snow), snowboarding is great!

You can find stuff online to prepare you...

I'm checking out the Hemel Hempstead snow center it looks like a good idea for me to go there some day in January, before I go boarding for reals.

here is the catch ;) I have black trousers, black thick socks, black thermal leggings, black fleece, light pink with white fur jacket, white gloves, white helmet (stick on ears optional extra)

all of which i believe would most def fit you. Want to come try at some point?

Sucks about Scottish shopping but maybe next year. Which village are you staying in? I see some of the cheaper deals still but am not sure how far it is to hoof it to any venues?
