I spilled ice tea on the carpet, and when I cleaned it up the carpet was cleaner there than anywhere else. Oops.

A few years ago, my mom, dad, and I went to a Japanese restaurant for sushi. Of course, we got hot green tea with our order. Wow! I just felt my first real earthquake! At first I thought someone was shaking my bed to wake me up, until I realized I didn't have a bed. (Yeah... about that... just moved in yesterday... anyone selling a bed?) But maybe it's a good thing I was sleeping on the ground because Kate and David (who were already awake) didn't feel it.

Yesterday was amazing. I might have mentioned to some of you Caltech’s tradition of Ditch Day. A long time ago, seniors would ditch classes on a random (unrevealed until the day of) day.
