I have so many feelings about this I just want to keysmash all over it. So so good. Thank you for this story, it was so wonderful. I enjoyed the development of their relationship and the whole counselling think and everything. Just perfect.

haha thank you! And you know, I really shouldn't say anything, because this is so far down on my to-do list I may find time for it when next year's big bang rolls around, but this fic does technically have a sequel. It's already plotted out and mostly outlined until i'm finished with all these other big bangs I've signed up for. So, you didn't hear it from me.

This was absolutely fantastic. :) You wrote the gradual development of their relationship so well, with the counseling and the ciphers. I really loved Spock going to Bones for advice! And the conclusion was just lovely.

thank you! I was so afraid that most of the gradual development wouldn't feel, well, gradual enough. I'm so glad you thought it worked! And Bones <3 I was trying to find ways to stick more Bones into the fic, but it's surprisingly difficult to get Spock to willingly spend time with him :P

Great story, awesome UST, as said above, and everyine's in character, yay! Love their coded messaging, and pretty much everything. And it's truly touching that even if Spock has to see another planet nearly dying but still having beetr survival ratio thanVulcan, he doesn't hurt terribly, because Jim is with him. Just awwwww. Loved it, great story, thank you!

yay for in character UST! lol i'm glad you liked everything, especially the part about that planet getting almost-destroyed. I debated with myself for a long time about how that would play out, mostly because I didn't want there to be so much character death (even if it was off-screen) lying around. But in the end I think it worked :)
