Dammit, what the hell is wrong with me? What happened to the honors student, the "sponge" who could sit in class, copy whatever was on the overhead and get As with almost no studying? It may be my imagination but I think it's sad when someone who you identify generally by surname says they are proud of you and your own parents don't......

We managed to get 8 people at softball this morning and as a result won our first game by forfeit.....good thing as we could use some serious work fielding....

I got some mail today that, while expected, was still a gift. The fourth grade class I worked with this spring sent me a batch of thank you notes. Each was handwritten and had a photocopy of the student's school picture glued to it.
