I have been in similar situations.. and with guys like that in situations like that if you really love them you have to just GET THERE ya know?? Do you have a credit card or something that you can just say fuck it and buy like the $600 ticket to England or something for just a week or something? I'm sure you'd be way more clear on everything if you just saw each other in person... long distance communication at that level complicates everything when the other person clams up... I know from the same experiences with Joey and with Oystein, my Norwegian boyfriend, both of whom I loved more than anyone I've ever loved and they clammed up and I just had to get on a plane and go to sort things out because I was going equally crazy... It's not as hard or far or out of your reach as you think to go.
