$40 doesn't seem like a lot to me to spend on a mattress pad. You know that old adage always holds true. You get what you pay for.

yes, and it IS very cozy... I guess I was feeling cheap. ;) And I only got a king size bed once I got pregnant, so I guess I'm not really used to the cost of king size linens yet!

I can't imagine having a king sized bed. haha. Our bedroom isn't big enough for one anyway...but a couple times we house-sat at my brother's house and they have a king sized bed...it just seemed like Eric was SO FAR away from me. haha.

You know, that's the ONE issue I have with it, is it always seems like Ben is WAY OVER THERE. But it is handy when you're, say, nursing every few hours (Sarah mostly slept on a lambskin between us for the first two months of her life), or when you have toddlers or dogs who INSIST on sleeping perpendicular to you. ;)

Why is it dogs always have to sleep perpendicular to you and STRETCH OUT??

I spent $75 on the mattress pad for our new mattress! My husband sweats something horrible, and he discolored our last mattress...it was worth it to me to get something that (supposedly) will keep the mattress clean!

I'm sorry the baby has been sick, Daniel's been sick for a while it seems like (a couple of bouts of pink eye and the doctor finally said he has allergies which cause it, so maybe that's over--although he just LOVES the eye drops we have to put in his eyes three times a day!).

Sorry we've been to out of touch, finally got back in school, and haven't had a spare minute!
