Two wants!

I want to knit the Triumph scarf as a headband.

I was working on the Bamboozled headband from Half-Assed Patterns, but the two skeins of black suss Love I was trying with are so different from the red I just knit up that it's hard to believe they're actually the same yarn, and it just wasn't working. Denim mitered squares blankie.

I may need to knit this variation on the mitered blankie someday. The denims make it less busy than a coloured version, all fading into blue-ness.

Te little baby jacket hit a minor snag yesterday ("pick up and knit" is harder along a stockinette edge than it is along a garter edge!) but is coming along pretty well - only the button bands & collar left to go ( Read more... )

I'm not sure I really thought about this before I started it, that it could be any different than knitting, say my eight hundredth kerchief or another scarf... the difficulty is really in the techniques, right?
