when minimum wage is 6.85 in the state... anything under 9.85 shouldn't be taxed.. especially for anyone listed as a dependent

Here's the thing. Being a democrat typically means favoring high taxes on wealthy people and less pressure on poor people. High taxes on low paying jobs is just dumb.

i agree...but i honestly believe that the amount i was taxed was pretty reasonable, its just that since im making 2.50 more per hour than i did last summer, i have jumped into a new tax bracket...and so it seems like a lot more...its not like i wont get most of it back when i get my tax refund anyway :)
