Winter Break
Well...this break was not what I had planned...the day school ended I ended up in the hospital, and was there for the next 4 days. Turns out 32 year olds can have appendicitis and need it out, stat. They were not able to do it laproscopicly (2 small incisions) so I have a lovely 6 inch scar on my belly. I did get to come home before Christmas, ( Read more... ) -
Fantastic Winter Day
Today was great - spent the AM at rehearsal for church tomorrow, home for a slow-cooker meal of chicken and veggies with the husband and kids, and playing with them until it was time for naps. Thankful
Just finished a fantastic Thanksgiving break; we get the whole week off now and it was awesome. Corey's cousin Erin was in town the first weekend, so we spent time with her and the Duncans, Sunday dinner at an awesome restaurant in Decatur called Cafe Lily, Monday the Aquarium, and monday night yummy lasagna she made for us ( Read more... ) -

Spring Break
(so much for 3 entries per month!). Last afternoon of a GREAT spring break with my kids. Started with a long weekend of the Friday before Palm Sunday, since we didn't have any snow this winter! This Saturday I painted the laundry room.The color came out a little darker than I thought it would, maybe because I didn't use primer, and painted a light color over the beige walls. I still need to hang some shelving/racks before I post pics. Some things I want to remember ( Read more... )
