I've spent the last 10 days fish-sitting my friend's bettas. I've never had any real exposure to them before. These two boys are a hoot. Hieronymus is all red, a consummate beggar, and a huge flirt. Cobalt is mostly dark blue. He spends a lot of his time sulking and quiet. However, when I've done their water changes, Cobalt thinks he can fight me. ( Read more... )

Bezoar used to swim frantically at top speed, eyes glazed, a fish on a mission of world domination. Eiseley on the other hand somehow manages to lose the tiny spark in his eyes that speak to a couple brain cells function, but sleeping, he's dumber than he usually is!

Why is it that 99/100 dental care items have MINT in them? Cool Mint, Winter Mint, Smooth Mint, Crisp Mint, Bright Mint, Crystal Mint. . . It's all so horrible. I wind up using kids' stuff a lot b/c it's often the only comparable product with a flavor profile that doesn't induce nausea.
