BAH! First off, you're a great friend and I actually felt something missing, knowing you WEREN'T just a text message away. If you honestly think "not one fucking person" cares... Come hang out with me. I don't see you often, but you're one of my best friends. Ever. And you're a damn good one, if I do say so myself.

On that case of life revolving around boys and girls, we're just animals. Animals are made to have sex and reproduce... we just happen to be slightly more complicated. So in a way life DOES revolve around boys and girls. But that's looking at it in a factual sense... I understand what you mean. People put too much effort into relationships sometimes. Or... Most of the time.
