I live in Michigan now with a man that I want to marry someday. We both agreed to not get married, because it doesn't make financial sense... right now and he's been married twice before. A friend passed away unexpectedly. Her family needs help to bury her!
FYI I'm reposting periodically!!! My friend Beth Risenburg passed away unexpectedly a couple days ago at the age of 31. She was a dedicated animal lover and took in a dog that had been abused and used for breeding. Beth worked herself to the bone to get the money needed for the dog when it was found to have cancer. Deep in my heart, I know I will always love him to some degree and will always hope for his happiness. I am angry because I invested so much and yet he simply could not open up to me and let me in as I had let him in. Sometimes...
Sometimes I wish I could be as heartless. Then I would heal faster and move on. I think coming to grips with the possibility of NEVER getting an answer or closure has been the hardest thing for me to cope with.
