Winding down the year
Not much has happened since my last post. I've created an end of semester assignment list as a form of motivation and inspiration. I'm really looking forward to summer camp, and am a little sad that it will be my last summer. IS Program Approved
I'm really excited about the fact that my animal behavior program was approved. hopefully i'll be able to take all the courses on my study plan while at LFC and will feel really good abt my decision to attend a school that allows independent majors. Unsure what to do?
So spring break has officially started for me marking the half way point in the semester, and I'm not sure what to make of it. I guess my main issue is that I don't think I'm getting my money's worth academically. My Chinese History final was easier than some of the finals I had at COD, and Most of my class got a D on the midterm in my psych class ( Read more... ) -
athletics
My body is starting to groan at me for all my physical activity. I need to wear my knee and ankle brace, and get a second knee brace for my other knee, and vary up my workout ( Read more... ) -
Serious academics time
So it's officially the 4th week of class, and things are starting to get hairy. I have a mini-ethnography due on Tues and still nothing concrete to write about. I'm going to have to spend the day somewhere with a lot of traffic and people watch until I come up with something. Survival
SO I survived the first week at lakeforest. It's been an emotional roller coaster so far. Yesterday being my low point after having to call grinnell to inform them that I was not returning, and believing that for one second I could move out from lake forest this weekend and come to grinnell, which doesn't start school until monday. obviously that's ( Read more... ) -
Update since last post
After reading my AP Psych notebook I've determined that I don't want to major in psych, except language aquisition, but that I like Anthro better. And I've calmed down a lot. Career issues again
So the last three days have been building up to an emotion crisis which pretty much exploded today. I even broke out my Refuse to Choose book, and at its advice I realized that pretty much evey semester COllege profs teach the same subject and have to do research of the same subject all the time.
