It has been an interesting week with animals. Early last week, we noticed an oppossum looking in our back door at us. Abigail, the 3yo, thought it was a big rat because she saw his tail as he ran away. I'm calling it a "him" because he was so big. This isn't meant for the people I work with but for. For 2 months, we held weekly conferance calls about a system installation (5 servers to be installed). Oh to be young. It began snowing last night and this morning, everybody was up except for 3 year old Abigail. The kids were happy to see the snow, but when Abigail woke up, all we heard was "It is snowing!" and she kept saying that proclaiming it to everyone as she came down the steps. Another wonderful weekend. Friday, we were plesantly surprised to receive the admissions offer from the college Sarah wants to go to. We are so happy for her. I made a joke of taking everybody for double cheeseburgers when the letter arrived, but it seems that my family didn't see it as a joke and made me pay up. Today was a wonderful day. The meal was great, we traveled safely to and from my parents and the conversations were wonderful. The only drawback was I ate a bit to much. Today is the day before Thanksgiving. I'm sure we all have things we are thankful for. We dwell so often on those things that aren't right in out lives and just take for granted the other stuff.
