Thyroid medication can actually help a lot....I didn't believe it at first either, but literally days after I started taking it, I felt much less depressed. Much less depressed than the 2 antidepressants i was concurrently taking could make me, heh. So if they do end up giving you something for your thyroid, I hope it helps you too:)!

I definately understand the whole knowing and not knowing. I mean for something less serious I was in and out of the Doctor's office pretty much all last Spring, and it got to a point where it was like I just expected bad news, even though the realistic chances of bad news were actually pretty slim.
But yeah...I hope your appointment goes ok.
