OMG - I just realized I'm going to be a parent. Who gave me the go ahead on this?!? Shouldn't I have to pass some licensing exam?! HOLY CRAP! It's sinking in...

Thanks - I can use the memory of that to help when i get freaked out. The baby is starting to move today - or I should say..I'm starting to be able to feel the movements. Freaky!!

Heh. You'll probably have a few more rounds. We noticed it started wearing off when S was 9-12 months old. The thing to remember is that your baby already has a gazillion head starts: well-educated (and older) parents with incomes in the highest 5-10%, access to the best medical care in the world, and more stuff than any human being could possibly ever use. That is all helpful to his/her success, but the most important thing of all is that he/she is already wanted and loved. That's all you need to be a spectacular parent
