Got to CT this afternoon. A little while before we got here we found out that my mom's boyfriend of 10 years died sometime this weekend. I really don't know what to say. I'm trying not to deal with it or get too emotional till my mom leaves. God.

Well, this is it. I'm about to pack up my computer and cancel my internet service. I'm supposed to leave early Saturday morning, but my mom told me earlier that there's supposed to be a lot of ice and stuff up there so we might leave tomorrow evening (yikes!) after my Europe trip meeting. In 6 days I will be leaving Florida and moving to Connecticut. What a change. I went to the beach Thursday morning to watch the sunrise. I took pictures of it and collected little vials of sand and sea water to take with me. I know it's cheesy, but watching the sunrise over the beach on New Years day felt so symbolic. It felt good. Hey. It's me. Not much to say. The festivities and party were fun. Christmas was okay. I've just been bumming around my house mostly. Roller and ice skating are tonight. Go back to work Friday. Weekend off, then work all of next week. I need to start packing soon. I leave on the 10th, only 11 days away. Ok, off to clean my room.
