Yay!! I'm really glad you're starting off term liking classes. Much better than starting off hating them :)

I hope you continue to enjoy 8.05. It was my favorite class at MIT, aside from maybe 18.701/2, but the comparison is difficult.

And 12.008 is one of those classes I wish I'd heard of before my senior year :)

... have you offered to, uhm, fix your partner's hair color?

I've seen my partner for a total of maybe five minutes. Have to take things slowly or I'll scare him off...

It's true, 8.05 is just plain cool. I still like the one passage in Griffiths about irreducible representations of yadda-yadda and how you can quote that to impress your friends :)
