Dude! Turkey! I really like Lady in the Water. Wait, didn't I see it with you? Maybe that was the other Emily....OH WELL. I had my AIESEC orientation retreat this weekend, and it was really hardcore. Those crazy kids really do work hard and play harder...we watched 'The Powerpoint', and did really intense focus groups about world issues, and somehow stayed up veeery late smoking hookah. And then I spent 3 hours pitching my marketing team to people, and in the end only one guy joined. OH well. I'll just hold my team meetings during GMs and serve free cake and cookies each time. Aaaanyway, I also have Arabic vocab to work on, so hasta luego!

AIESEC orientation retreat?? Why didn't we get to do something like that? Noooo, they just made us sit in some stupid room for 6 and a half hours! Oh well, it was really fun...although the addition of some hookah would have made it much more enjoyable, if you ask me. I still don't know which team I'm going to join here...possibly "Projects", although I don't really know what that means. Aaaanyhow, speaking of Arabic vocab, I have to go learn something like 5,000 words for tomorrow. Mumtaz!

I'm so jealous! There are like, a bazillion Americans here, so no one's like, wow cool, you're American. I do not feel unique. Plus, they're all blondes. Americans and Germans. We're like, taking over this school man. I need to find a club where there aren't many Americans, but each one I try already has about 5! Grrrr.

In relation to the comment you just left on my journal (sniff, I wish I could get aim working cause we're both online right now! I don't really want to let my firewall down though...) I think I'm free from January 1/2 until feb. 12. My dad's coming up in early december, and then John and Katie are going to come for new years! gasp, you should come visit me for new years also and we can all go to Edinburgh for one of the biggest new years celebrations on the planet! Then you can see stirling, and I can come visit the pyramids after! woot! I totally don't know what I'm doing in between the 21st and 31st of December though. Sigh. Where's my hot Scottish man inviting me home for the holidays, like in The Prince and Me? hehehehehe. Oh well
