Well, these past few weeks have been pretty good. Several exciting developments have taken place, the first one being that I finally have a permanent roommate! Hooray! Yay happy times! Except for the food poisoning. I got food poisoning freshman year. Moral of the story: don't eat cheese off the floor.

You know, maybe THAT'S what did me in. I guess the 10-second rule doesn't really apply in a country whose entire surface is covered with a thin layer of sand/dirt/grime/other toxic chemicals. Hmm.

Hehehe Kraetzschmar! What class did you have him for? Today he asked me to give a definition of colonialism...anything for you, Hendrik! Um, aaanyhow, I'm glad everything worked out with that 50-page paper course...writing all that for nothing would be a tiny bit frustrating. I guess I shouldn't be complaining TOO much about the 30 pages. The weather here is beautiful--today it was sunny and in the low 70s. Evidently it went below zero in Illinois, haha. I bet it's even worse in Michigan! Then again, you'll be laughing at me when it's 100 degrees here in a few months.
