SPRING BREAK HOORAAAAY!!!

The title pretty much says it all.  I am officially on break!  Mumtaz!  I believe my mother is arriving in a few hours, and tomorrow our fancy first-class Nile Cruise begins!  We'll be staying in ridiculously nice hotels (and a ridiculously nice cruise boat, I would imagine) and all of it's free for me because my mom's paying.  Ahahaha!  We're ( Read more... )

Ahhahahah! 'Mi scusi, mi scusi!' I wonder what else your hot professor is a hard ass about....hehehehehehehe. Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't help it! I want to go on a cruise down the Nile! Yay for spring break, I'm on it too! You won't get this until you're back I suppose, but I hope that you have a good trip! I've heard that Brick is pretty awesome from this Scottish guy in my film class, but I don't know if I believe him, he only like half the Holiday. Gasp! Blasphemy! Dude, registration on Monday! I can't believe it!

Wooooo Spring Break!!!!! Daaaaamn a nile cruise sounds nice right about now! And guess what......if everything goes well, and my visa gets granted, and they accept me and everything, guess where I'll be going in the Fall???? .....that's right, AUC! Whoooooo! Man, I probably won't know if they accept me for a while. I seem to remember you not finding out for ages about it, but I could be wrong. I had to send them a hypothetical course list with my application, and it was very very exciting. Although, a lot of the IR and poli sci courses had prerequisites that I don't have...and then there's Arabic....if I get into this crazy summer program here, I'll be in 3rd year Arabic by the time I go to Cairo. Yay! Ok I'd better go before this turns into a freaking novel, but I may or may not send you an email filled with Arabic and AIESEC dorkiness.

And dude, exciting trip in the end of April? Kick ass! I hear that you can't go to Lebanon and Israel on the same passport, though. But even so! Estoy jealous!

I probably won't go to Lebanon and Israel in one trip...it'll either be Jordan + Israel or just Lebanon. But it will indeed be quite kick ass! And you shouldn't worry about getting into AUC--they're just dying to get your tuition money--they'd never refuse a $7000 check (or however much it actually is)! And also, you don't need to worry about the prerequisites either. They'll let you into any Poli Sci course you want as long as it has something to do with your major. And also, go crazy summer program!!! Are you going to be in C-U at all?? :( Estoy triste. *SOB* Aaaanyhow, I suppose that's about all I have to say. Fancy cruise with a bunch of fat, middle-aged American tourists commences tomorrow! Wahoo!
