Okay, so these past few days have been unbelievably awesome!  I know I won't be able to do them justice in an LJ post, but I'll do my best.

1. Crazy accelerated Modern Standard Arabic class
2. Colloquial Egyptian I
3. Science & Technology of Ancient Egypt--evidently I get to mummify a cat???  And go on all these awesome field trips to different places around Egypt.  Score.

Dude.  I'm in EGYPT!!!  I got here yesterday evening, and Cairo is absolutely amazing.  The city is beautiful and everyone has been so nice.  One random Egyptian woman led us halfway across town in order to help us find a bank that we needed to get to.  I can understand a lot of what people are saying, but I'm going to wait until I've had the ( Read more... )
