yesterday i went out to queens theatre in the park for my orientation workshop to be a teaching artist for their after-school program.  i was blown away.  it was so incredible and just an amazing example of this country's ability to make arts in education programs happen.  i am so shocked ay how the NYC department of education seems miles ahead of ( Read more... )

i saw roundabout's "sunday in the park with george" today. first, i was speechless. then, after about five minutes of letting it sink in, i couldn't stop talking about it.  once again, sondheim has left me in complete awe of what theatre can do to an audience.

so a lot of stuff has happened this week. lots of amazing things... i am really counting my blessings.  but because of these amazing things, i will be ridiculously busy for a while.  which means people may not hear from me and i may not have much of a social life... but then, did i really have one before anyway?
