So, I am a little taken back by the fact that I just got a graduation card from my Dad's biological mother, Betty Jo. Long story short I have not heard from her since 10th grade and I do mean not a word. Once I got into LSU I wrote her a letter every semester, trying to make some sort of effort to contact her, and nothing until now...graduation ( Read more... )

So this whole after graduation thing is okay...but not great. I am enjoying getting to see my Mom a lot and help her out but at the same time I am really trying to get to know her business (better than I know it now...all the nuts and bolts) so that I can make a decision as to whether I would like to make it a career and one day take it over or... Well, graduation is just around the corner and the time to be a real adult and face the "real world" is lurking around more frequently everyday! Well, I made it safely to Gainesville without too much of a flight delay...only about a 30 minute delay in Houston...not too bad. I took a shuttle from the Jacksonville Airport to Gainesville and I survived that as well and the bus wasn't too ghetto ( Read more... )

Finally a break from the craziness that was this past semester. Thank God it is my last semester on campus! Yes, I can say that confidently now that I know that I passed everything!
