twistedsister03 came up to my neighborhood for dinner and beer last night. she is super cool - just like i expected :) i'm not very familiar with the area of seattle that she's living in but my coworker who lives down there recommends stellar pizza and georgetown liquor co. anyone else familiar with georgetown, south park or farther south - good places to eat, ( Read more... )

9lb hammer - comfortable bar with free peanuts, and shuffle board
smarty pants - sandwiches and cocktails and fritopie!
jules maes - I've only been once since they reopened after being closed for a few years, but they have pinball and I see lots of live music listings as well

and if you happen to be there early in the AM, you can get a pretty good breakfast at the Shell station

omg. frito pie. i've been wanting that since my coworkers told me about taco in a bag and frito pie in a bag. i must go to smarty pants!

it's now on my list of places to go. i don't make it south of downtown all that often, by now that ayreen is there, i have a reason to go down there!
