To some people Easter really has no relevance, to me it's a day of renewel, a reminder that though some things change and end, there is always something new on the horizon. Today i learned that a person i've been corresponding to for almost 2 years online passed away. I wept, even though i'd never met them, they were my friend, we joked, talked and laughed, they had cancer of the liver and were only supposed to live 6 months to a year, well the doctors were wrong, they lived another 2 years, so much for that ( Read more... )

Well, i went to NY ComicCon and man was it crowded, not suprising, but i think they had no clue how many people would actually come to this Con. They apparently only rented out half of the Jacob Javitz Center where it was being held and the rest was being used for some furniture or something else, show ( Read more... )

Looks like i'll be going to NY ComicCon Saturday with my roomies and maybe a friend, i'm so looking forward to it, Milla Jovovich, Frank Miller and Kevin Smith will be there, i so want to meet them all. Well today is Valentine's Day and it's off to a good start, although i kind of cheated and did a pre-Valentine's Day yesterday since my sister was heading off, back home to Florida and i wanted her to have something before she left. Yesterday, my mom told me she wasn't feeling well and asked me to go to the hospital with her, i did and spent 5 1/2 hours there, wearing myself out, but i was content with the doctors telling her it wasn't anything serious. Well the new year just rang in and here's hoping it holds only great things for all of us. I hung out with some friends, gamed and ate good food, we toasted the new year with sparkling cider and although some mmight find it dumb, i had fun. Well it's Christmas Day and it's going pretty nicely, presents have been exchanged and all and all i think we're pretty happy. I'm going to be heading over to my mom's for dinner, along with my brother and his family, and we'll exchange more gifts there.
