I cant speak for east coast canada, but I'll tell you everyone I've ever spoken to who has visited western canada says nothing but glowingly about how awesome canadians are, how nice and friendly and shit like that... so yah.. dont buy it sorry bud. Not like you arent used to hearing it about americans anyways.. you know damn well most people world wide dislike americans cause of the loud obnoxious ones who always tend to piss everyone and their dog off with you all.. so yah.. canadians are worse... thats why we're still favored world wide as peace keepers etc.

As far as the US... well everyone in the world laughs at you guys on a regular basis with ol brainiac bush in office. The village idiot not only got elected... he got re-elected... so trust me.. you all are are the butt of many a joke the world over.
As far as not taking canada seriously.. eh... I dont see that... More people are taking canada serious and if you look at world trading.. canada has not only gained more of their share of the world market, and our country is drawing in more foreign investors as well. If you ever read stuff like the globe and mail you'd see that... but then again.. you are more interested in gamer stuff most likely so wouldnt be reading such staid stuff as political and trade rags...
