I caught the second episode of Heroes on the NBC website, after completely forgetting to watch it on Monday. Honest to gosh, I may never watch television on a television again. First Dexter last week and now this....
Did you notice that the scrolling genome made a pattern on the screen that was immediately paralleled in the swimming pool in the next scene?
Our visionary artist painted it, too.
He sees a gun on the ground and, incredibly, picks it up. See what I mean about suspension of disbelief? This is a guy who watches a lot of TV, I just can't fathom him being dumb enough to pick up a gun that's laying beside a trail of blood.
I completely bought it; I don't see Hiro watching a lot of procedural shows. Also, he's kind of high on his powers, still--and he's really the most naive one out of our group, imho. (And I love to death because of it.)
the videotape of the murder of the mobsters, which goes staticky when it gets to the good part. Cop-out.
Copout or reference to the type of powers her alt-ego has? Because it made me think of ghosts and vampires. Don't know. Hmmmm.

I've heard "demon" tossed around too. Those options kind of confuses fantasy and sci-fi, but we don't really know the limits of this show yet.... I was just disappointed at not being allowed to watch the killin's, honestly.
You're right about Superman...there's a lot more in the other camp, though, like the two you mentioned and Angel and the Vulture and Magneto...I don't know much about the Green Lantern, doesn't he fly too?
That would be an interesting theory...I forgot that Sylar could only have threatened to kill Papa, which would send the mad scientist into a tizzy; forcing him to make himself a mutant; and then hiding in the perfect hiding spot - out in the open - until there was a way to defeat Sylar.

I also agree that Clea looks better in brown. Incidentally, I just started season 2 of Carnivale. Wow, Brother J. Just wow.
Oh, and watch Lost before tomorrow so I can talk about it! ;)
