I need advice...

I am seriously considering adding another class to my Winter schedule and I need some advice. Here's the deal: If I add this class, it will be a Monday, Wednesday, Friday deal...giving me 5 hours of class on Monday and Wednesday and 4 hours of class on Friday. You have to consider where your other time comitments are going to go. There's office hours, 1on1s, meetings, programming, a job, etc. I can see how that extra time on Tuesday and Thursday would be nice, but it's quickly going to fill up with these other things so you will really end up with all of your days being pretty full. If the class is really important to you, then go for it, otherwise I think you'll just be giving yourself more of a headache.

I think I've had a similar situation this quarter, if I understand you correctly. I really enjoyed having those one class days, but the "extra time" still disappeared quickly. Mainly I enjoyed them becuase of the lack of homework due on Monday and Wednesday. I don't think you're going to find it being much different. All your extra activities will fill in that extra time. I'd say go for it if you really want the class.

I'm not saying that you should for sure take that class, but I do want to mention this. Remember Loretto? It almost seemed like you had more homework to consume your time that you now fill with work and activities, as well as homework. And you took classes 8 hours, 5 days a week. Doesn't seem so bad to just take 5 hours. However, it might end up being overwelming. You're going to have to weigh the pros and cons with this one.

Love you!
