35. The Jungle Book by Rudyard KiplingThis book was only partly what I expected. Only parts of it tell the story of Mowgli who was raised by wolves and learned the Jungle Law. 33. Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne

This book was a fun, quick and entertaining read. I found the story hard to put down. Written concisely with well defined characters and fun adventures, something Verne struggled with in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Ever since I discovered the Stanza app for my iPhone (which essentially turns my phone into a Kindle) and all the free, out of copyright classics that I can download and read on it anytime I want, I've started making some headway into my list.
