Once upon a time 11 weeks ago, I decided I was going to be better about writing in this thing. Apparently, that was a lie. I am driving to Toronto today. Pictures will abound. I have been researching Canada-speak so nobody will think I am a "cookie" tourist who doesn't know anything about spending "loonies" to buy "two-fours" or getting "double-doubles" at the local coffee shop in "Hogtown." Eh?

Tomorrow I am leaving Charlotte to return to Chapel Hill, and it will likely be a long time before I spend time in Charlotte again for more than a day or two at a time. I love my family. I really do. I have spent the last two hours playing Aquarium 911 with my roommate. I have in my fish tank two Mickey Mouse Platies, a Dalmation Potbelly Molly and a snail. The Molly was ENORMOUS when I left my house earlier this evening. Two hours ago, I noticed she was suddenly skinney. After taking a closer look at the aquarium, I saw baby fish everywhere!
