Violation of Ammendments

Ok, so apparently, the administration of my school has now started monitering our Xanga sites ... not only reading them, but forcing those with "offensive language" to edit it. Also, since an alumni of my school who was going to chaperone the choir on our NYC tour had less than something positive to say about our school and is no longer ( Read more... )

that is ridiculous. i dont think thats even legal. but then, im just remembering that one of the many nhs scandals this year was i think because some kids posted rather unflattering and fake pictures of the sponsors doing things they shouldnt be doing on their xanga or something, so maybe it is allowed... i dont know. stupid, nonetheless. shouldnt we have someplace where we're allowed to express our opinions? better online than on a wall somewhere in the school with spray paint.
