I don't even have to click on the link, or even hover over it, to know exactly what you're talking about.

I'm 90% done with the download, and by the time I check out this morning I should have Star Wreck in my hot, digital hands.

Wow, no one else has replied to this post. Oh well, I guess I get to make up for it then. Here's a few interesting translation things I noticed:

1) A character says the word "Hi", which is translated to "Hullo." Um, 'hi' is an English word, too.

2) It's not a wormhole, it's a "maggot hole."

3) There is no antimatter, it's "antimaterial." Is this some kind of veiled shot at the US' materialistic society?

4) Bokia, McBaabel's, oh, and the engineer's subtitles are in a brogue. Aye, cap'n.

i'm not sure if maggot hole is a translation issue. i think they actually mean maggot hole as opposed to wormhole. part of the joke. i did notice the brogue, though. that was pretty funny.

i'm listening to lou reed's 'raven'. it's interesting. i'm not sure i don't like it, but i'm also not sure if i do like it. it's an interesting interpritation. one of unrequited love as opposed to the loss of a beloved. rather interesting.
